Educational aims of the programme
To provide a high quality education that is intellectually rigorous and up-to-date, as well as relevant to the needs of future entrepreneurs whether they are inside existing organisations or starting up companies.
Modules provide a theoretical framework and practical skills that aspiring entrepreneurs need in order to cope with an increasingly complex and dynamic business world in which we live.
To provide the students with the basis for developing their own approach to learning and personal development.
To provide not only a rigorous treatment of the relevant theory, but also the quantitative techniques necessary to understand the literature and undertake empirical investigations in the areas of entrepreneurship.
The optional modules aim to offer students a broader perspective on the subject matter and allow them to specialise in areas that are of particular interest to them.
The final project provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in the form of either a business plan, dissertation or a consulting project; a dissertation in the form of an academically based dissertation is not available as an alternative.

This Master's Degree programme is studied full-time over one academic year, consisting of 180 credits at FHEQ level 7*. All modules are semester based and worth 15 credits with the exception of project, practice based and dissertation modules.
Possible exit awards include:
- Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits)
- Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits)
*some programmes may contain up to 30 credits at FHEQ level 6.
