Educational aims of the programme

To provide a programme of study that allows students to combine disciplines and explore themes using a range of disciplines, while developing an understanding of the nature of interdisciplinary study

To develop students' capacity for reflective learning, by means of building skills of researching, analysing, presenting and debating their work, in a systematic, critical, disciplined and confident manner

To provide students with the necessary skills to pursue a range of post-study options, either in work or in further study

To provide students with an integrated professional placement, that enhances their understanding of the relationship between academic study and professional practice

This Bachelor's Degree (Honours) programme is studied full-time over three academic years, consisting of 360 credits (120 credits at FHEQ levels 4, 5 and 6). All modules are semester based and worth 15 credits with the exception of project, practice based and dissertation modules.
Possible exit awards include:

Full-time with PTY

This Bachelor's Degree (Honours) programme is studied full-time over four academic years, consisting of 480 credits (120 credits at FHEQ levels 4, 5, 6 and the optional professional training year).
