Prerequisites / Co-requisites

Successful completion of the Professional and Contextual Modules in Level 5. A good command of spoken and written English. If the student’s first language is not English, and s/he has not been taught in English or studied to A level standard in the UK, s/he will need to demonstrate a minimum level of competence.

A weighted aggregate mark of 40% is required to pass the module.

 

This module develops students’ understanding of the audition process and their approach to self-marketing.

 

Module aims

Thoroughly prepare the trainee actor for engagement in the professional performance industry

Develop and deploy appropriate research methods and strategies

Prepare the trainee actor for a lifelong commitment to the process of seeking and acquiring creative, artistic and commercial opportunities
